I teach + advise food entrepreneurs (restaurants, caterers, bakers, trucks) + entrepreneurship orgs in NC + I’m a food safety geek. I am not a health inspector + this is not a sales pitch! It just occurs to me that a free ask-me-anything on food safety might be helpful to folks just getting started.

No matter what state you’re in, you can get valuable info on food safety practices, plus working with inspectors + inspections. I’m an expert on NC plans + permits, but much of the info is kinda universal, though each state has its own rule book + permit practices. I don’t pretend to know it all coast-to-coast: if I don’t know the answer, I’ll help you find it!
